Some locals prevented the women from leaving and alerted the police control room.


Police Action and Case Registration

Hulimavu police reached the location soon after receiving the alert. Officials said the women continued to behave aggressively even during detention.

Both accused, identified as college students, were taken to the police station. Their parents were informed, and a formal case was registered under sections related to assault, public nuisance, and drunken misconduct.


Investigation Underway

After preliminary questioning, the women were released on notice as per legal procedure. Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are examining viral videos, eyewitness testimonies, and damage reports to establish the exact sequence of events.

The case has once again highlighted growing concerns around road rage and alcohol-fuelled violence in metropolitan cities like Bengaluru.
